How collection works
A vehicle that no longer runs at all is collected by flatbed truck, directly from wherever it is, garage, land or the street. The owner doesn't need to move or lift anything.
Once collected, the vehicle is taken to an approved centre for certified destruction. You receive the Car-Pass and the certificate of destruction, two documents that protect you should the vehicle ever come up in a later check.
